WILD FOR GIRLS GOALS

WILD FOR GIRLS GOALS

Calgary Wild Players Inspire Young Athletes at “Girls Goals” Program

Four players from the Calgary Wild women’s professional soccer team — Far, Kat, Andersen, and Grace — visited our club’s “Girls Goals” program on Friday, Oct 24, sharing their experiences as professional athletes and inspiring the next generation of young female players.

The “Girls Goals” program provides free access to soccer for girls in the community, made possible through sponsorship from Sport Calgary. During the event, the Calgary Wild players led activities, interacted with participants, and spoke about their journeys in the sport, encouraging players to dream big and stay active.

Their visit highlighted the importance of positive role models in sport and reinforced the shared goal of growing opportunities for girls and women in soccer across Calgary.

EMFC - MORE THAN A NAME

EMFC - MORE THAN A NAME

Thank you to all the players and parents who supported the Cavalry Game Day experience yesterday.

Our players received a visit from Calgary Cavalry FC forward Caniggia Elva

We helped cheer the Cav's to a great 4-0 victory. This was a great day and many great memories shared and built.

The Cav's put on a great welcome for our two buses of enthusiastic supporters who seemed to make the loudest stomp and cheer.

EMFC going beyond the game to build community.
